Travel Study Grant - Orde van den Prince Houtland
Are you a Berkeley undergraduate or graduate student looking to take your research or studies in Dutch Studies to the next level? The Orde van den Prince Afdeling Houtland offers a $500 Travel Study Grant designed to help you fund a trip to the Low Countries (the Netherlands and Flanders). Immersing yourself in the local culture, archives, or academic environment can be a game-changer for your work. Here is how you can apply:
Application Requirements:
- The Essay: Submit a 500-word statement of purpose written in Dutch. Your text should clearly explain why you want to travel to the Low Countries and exactly how this trip will contribute to your current studies or research project.
- The Follow-Up: Upon returning from your trip, you will be required to submit a short report (also in Dutch) detailing your experiences and academic findings.
How to Apply:
If you are interested in applying or have any questions about the grant, please reach out directly to the Program Director Prof. Jeroen Dewulf to get the process started.
