Events

The Dutch Studies Program organizes a variety of events for our students and the Berkeley community. During the semester, the weekly Koffieuurtje (coffee hour) provides an opportunity for students to practice their Dutch outside of the classroom with each other, their professors, and other native speakers. Dutch Studies also hosts guest lectures and book presentations throughout the academic year. Moreover, the Dutch Student Association (DSA) is an active student club which organizes events like Pannenkoekenavond (pancake night), visits Koningsdag (Dutch King's Day) at San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, and hosts other social events for students in Dutch Studies and beyond.
